About the team:

The Technology Planning and Cooperation Department promotes strategic innovation across all of Huawei Canada. Working with fellow experts, the focus is researching new and upcoming areas of technology as well as strategic planning to help achieve long term vision of Huawei. This department offers a unique opportunity to leverage both technical and business skills.

About the job:

• Explore and conduct technology insight activities from the technical perspective.

• Participate in academic conferences and evaluation activities, providing technical insights.

• Assist in technical path analysis, carry out research on next-generation emerging technologies related to future datacom network.

• Survey the latest trends on a regular basis, and understand the technology evolution roadmap.

About the ideal candidate:

• Doctoral candidate in computing network, data communication or related disciplines.

• Insight and analysis capabilities into future network traffic, routing protocols, network security, AI large model training, and inference related technologies.

• Strong awareness of research trends within academia.

• Publications in top conferences and journals.

• Good teamwork spirit and excellent communication skills.

• Demonstrate creative thinking.

• Responsible, proactive, and passionate about solving challenging problems.

• Actively participating in academic conferences, with prior experience is an asset.
