About the team:
The Distributed Data Storage and Management Lab leads research in distributed data systems, aiming to develop next-generation cloud serverless products that encompass core infrastructure and databases. This lab addresses various data challenges, including cloud-native disaggregated databases, pay-by-query user models, and optimizing low-level data transfers via RDMA. Teams within this lab create advanced cloud serverless data infrastructure and implement cutting-edge networking technologies for Huawei's global AI infrastructure.

About the job:
Be responsible for the architecture design, technology selection, development, implementation, and optimization of the foundation model application thinking enhancement, provide efficient, stable, and easy-to-use platform services for AI application developers, and support the rapid innovation and implementation of AI applications enabled by big models.
Explore uncertain technologies: Take charge of multi-path exploration, multi-echelon research, and multi-scenario application in fields such as deepsearch, deepresearch, and foundation model applications to form technical advantages and support business success.
Leading technological innovation: Lead the integration and innovation of multiple technical fields such as enhanced search generation and multi-agent collaboration, continuously absorb the latest research results from academia and industry, and solve complex problems in AI applications.
Support business success: Implement key technologies in Huawei's mainstream scenarios, support Huawei's device and cloud fields to build cutting-edge products, explore new services and new business models, and provide AI application developers with the best platform experience and realize business monetization.
Promote regional ecosystem construction: As a regional ecosystem builder, connect foundation model applications, distributed data systems, and academic resources of knowledge retrieval conferences to promote exchanges and cooperation.
Job requirements
About the ideal candidate:
Excellent programming and algorithm skills, and proficient in using at least one programming language in Python, Java, C++, and Go.
Be proficient in using common deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow; Be familiar with mainstream open-source foundation model application development platforms such as Langchain and Dify.
Have in-depth practical experience in foundation models, search recommendation, graph-based inference, and complex search algorithms (such as heuristic search).
Good logical thinking, communication and collaboration skills, and curiosity about new things.
