Huawei Canada has an immediate 6-month internship opening for a Recruiter.
About the job:
Conduct competition talent mapping and other activities in the Americas region to identify and target international competition talent
Implement sourcing strategies to target competition talent and maintain a diverse and qualified candidate pool
Effectively attract, source, and interview candidates
Advise hiring teams on recruiting best practices and strategies to attract, source, screen, and hire competition talent
Administrating the approval process, offer letter, and related activities
Monitor and manage the recruitment process end-to-end
Work closely with hiring managers in a consultative manner ensuring the best hiring decisions are made and in a timely manner
Participate in career fairs, networking events, and potentially other projects or recruitment initiatives

Ability to produce quality results, working under minimal supervision
Positive attitude and team player
Ability to quickly create relationships with hard-to-find candidates
Passionate about talent acquisition and up-to-date on industry best practices, thinking innovatively and outside-the-box for talent attraction strategies
Driven and results-oriented with a can-do attitude
Confidence in recruitment abilities and strong negotiation skills
Proficiency with MS Office Suite
Experience supporting multiple open vacancies at a time with the ability to effectively prioritize hiring requirements
