Job description

Our team has an immediate 12-month contract opening for a Project Assistant.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist project managers in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with company strategic KPIs.

  • Coordinate and track progress of key tasks, ensuring they are completed on time and meet KPI requirements.

  • Coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.

  • Maintain project documentation, including reports, files, and records.

  • Monitor project progress, regularly report on KPI achievements, and update stakeholders on project status.

  • Assist in the preparation of project presentations and reports, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

  • Help with the procurement of project materials and resources.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project milestones are met and key tasks are aligned.

  • Provide administrative support, including managing schedules and communication.

Job requirements

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.

  • 1-3 years of experience in project management or administrative support, with experience in key task management and alignment with company strategy.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Ability to track the execution of key tasks and ensure alignment with strategic goals.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies is an asset.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification is an asset.
