Job description
Our team has an immediate 12-month contract opening for a Project Assistant.
Responsibilities:
Assist project managers in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with company strategic KPIs.
Coordinate and track progress of key tasks, ensuring they are completed on time and meet KPI requirements.
Coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
Maintain project documentation, including reports, files, and records.
Monitor project progress, regularly report on KPI achievements, and update stakeholders on project status.
Assist in the preparation of project presentations and reports, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Help with the procurement of project materials and resources.
Collaborate with team members to ensure project milestones are met and key tasks are aligned.
Provide administrative support, including managing schedules and communication.
Job requirements
What you’ll bring to the team:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in project management or administrative support, with experience in key task management and alignment with company strategy.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to track the execution of key tasks and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies is an asset.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification is an asset.
