Job description

Our team has an immediate 12-month contract opening for an Office Administrator.

As a strategic partner supporting all of Huawei Canada, the Human Resource Department plays a pivotal role in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent while ensuring compliance with corporate and legal standards. About the role:

  • Book hotels and flights, provide travel visa application and expense report instructions, as well as provide user guidelines to employees related to the internal IT system

  • Manage supplies and equipment in office and meeting rooms

  • Other administrative services, such as business card application, phone bill management, etc.

  • Other duties shall be assigned as required

Job requirements

About the ideal candidate:

  • Post-Secondary Diploma in Business Administration, or relevant discipline

  • Strong knowledge of office procedures and practices

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)

  • Resourceful and flexible

  • Strong English communication skills and organizational skills 

  • Ability to schedule multiple duties/projects and handle stressful situations

  • Fast learner with the ability to work unsupervised, including an evident work ethic

  • Desire to contribute to a team environment
