Co-op Engineer - Rust

Our team has an immediate 4-month Co-op opening for an Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the research and development team to deliver our high quality, secure WASM based Cloud Services product.
• Expand the capabilities of the product with new functionality and feature validations.
• Create a robust WASM based serverless platform with the latest technologies.
• Create and deliver presentations and technical documentation for the internal team.
• Deliver a high-quality implementation through a combination of automated unit tests, functional testing and system testing of the solution.
• Recommend new technology and share your expertise with the team to grow our collective knowledge.

What you’ll bring to the team:

• Knowledge and experience of software application development in Rust or C/C++.
• Proficient in UNIX scripting and Python programming.
• Strong research capability and ability to learn new technologies/products quickly.
• Good analytics skills; Ability to handle complex tasks by assessing issues and breaking down problems to reach an optimal solution.
• Ability to work with minimal guidance and have a strong sense of responsibility.
• Experience in cloud services such as AWS Lambda, Cloud formation etc.
• Experience in designing overall web application, system release QA plan, Linux administration and scripting languages, Docker, OpenStack is an asset.
