Co-op Engineer - Java

Our team has an immediate 12-month Co-op opening for an Engineer.
Responsibilities:
• Implement, test and deploy innovative features of ROMA Connect iPaaS platform on the Huawei Cloud.
• Contribute to open source communities, such as Apache Camel, by developing new features.
• Collaborate closely with the members of the team and interact with them.

What you'll bring to the team:
• Currently enrolled in a university and registered with the school's co-op program (undergraduate, graduate degrees are assets)
• Knowledge of at least one of the following languages: Java, Golang, or Python
• An understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Implementation, Java frameworks (such as Spring) and design patterns is essential
• Familiarity with software integration technologies such as Apache Camel or RedHat Fuse
• Knowledge of cloud providers and cloud services
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
