Our team has an immediate permanent opening for a Technical Expert.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct advanced research and development of power supply architecture of data center, mainly focusing on system/board/chip level power architecture, including multi-phase buck converter, switch capacitor, fully integrated voltage regulators, SCVR, TLVR, etc.
  • Work with power integrity (PI) engineers to ensure robustness of the design, as well as work closely with other departments, such as internal firmware/software teams, test group.
  • Manufacturing, quality control, and marketing to ensure the seamless integration of new technologies into product lines.
  • Provide new power design technology assessments and conduct power technology research, and determine future technologies trend.
  • Manage and execute projects from concept to production, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Design, test and tune analog and digital DC-DC converters with power ranging from 500mA to 300A.
  • Prepare technical documents, reports, and presentations to communicate findings and progress.

Job requirements

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Bachelor degree or above, majoring in Electronic Technology, Electromagnetic field, Computer Engineering or related field.
  • At least 10+ years of related technical engineering experience in power electronic, analog circuit design, power module design, as well as rich experience in basic circuits theory, PI simulation, testing and analysis.
  • Specialized in power electronics that include voltage regulator topologies, such as multi-phase Buck, Buck-Boost, LLC, switch capacitor, TLVR. Specialized in DC-DC control loop tuning for stability and transient performance, linear and non-linear control.
  • Experience with DC/DC voltage regulator validation/testing; Electronic equipment characterizations/measurements that include digital oscilloscopes, network analyzers and electronic loads. 
  • Experience with power simulation software such as SPICE, Simplis, Cadence, PowerSI, and understanding of effective PCB stack-up design.
  • Experience with system power management validation of CPU/GPU products, data center power architecture, recent Intel/AMD chip sets is an asset. 
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
