Our team has an immediate permanent opening for a Researcher.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting research on 6G candidate technologies with emphasis on PHY layer
- Responsible for designing, and implementation of DSP algorithms for next-generation wireless communication systems
- Proposing effective and practical solutions to improve the current system KPIs
Job requirements
What you’ll bring to the team:
- PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computing Engineering related
- Solid background in digital communication theory and signal processing
- Familiar with 5G-NR and legacy radio interfaces in L1
- Research experience on signal processing and algorithms for communications
- Familiar with machine learning and deep learning principles
- Proficiency in Python (NumPy, SciPy, Tensorflow, Pytorch) and MATLAB/Simulink
- Experience in one or more of the following physical layer topics:
- MIMO/massive MIMO wireless communications
- Waveform design and optimization
- Phased array antenna technology
- Channel estimation and equalization
- Nonlinear signal processing, for example DPD, PAPR reduction.
- Hardware impairment compensation, e.g., phase noise, suppression
- FEC (LDPC, Polar, Turbo) codes and coded modulation systems
