Job description

Our team has an immediate 12-month contract opening for a Recruiter.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and recruit passive talents for Huawei Technologies Canada
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies
  • Utilize various sourcing techniques, including direct sourcing, networking, and database searches, to identify potential candidates
  • Conduct thorough screenings and interviews to assess candidate qualifications
  • Develop and maintain relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
  • Keep up-to-date with market trends and competitors to effectively respond to changing recruitment needs
  • Present top candidates to hiring managers for consideration and provide recommendations based on candidate assessments
  • Assist with the negotiation of job offers and coordinate the onboarding process for successful candidates

The target annual compensation (based on 2080 hours per year) ranges from $48,000 to $94,000 depending on education, experience and demonstrated expertise.

Job requirements

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in campus recruitment or social recruitment
  • Strong knowledge of various sourcing techniques and ability to effectively utilize them
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess candidate qualifications accurately and efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring manager
  • Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
