About the team:

The Software-Hardware System Optimization Lab continuously improves the power efficiency and performance of smartphone products through software-hardware systems optimization and architecture innovation. We keep tracking the trends of cutting-edge technologies, building the competitive strength of mobile AI, graphics, multimedia, and software architecture for mobile phone products.

About the job:

• Working on the application of advanced reinforcement learning, heuristic search and other AI algorithms for solving real-world problems.

• Identify, and formulate problems from software/hardware optimization.

• Survey literature for algorithmic ideas and solutions.

• Develop, design, and evaluate proposed solutions on prototypes or real-world applications.
  

About the ideal candidate:

• Currently enrolled at university in Ph.D program in computer science, computer engineering, or related fields.

• Familiarity with some of the popular deep learning architectures.

• Experience with a certain AI field such as reinforcement learning, heuristic search, integer linear programming, etc.

• Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, with creative thinking and attention to details.

• Specialized and related research or industrial experience, demonstrated either by publications or projects is an asset.
