Job description
Our team has an immediate 12-month internship opening for an Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and development on engineering a Foundation Model based software development platform.
- Conduct design, refactoring, development, testing and analysis of platform.
- Familiar with general open source development process and contribute to other open source projects and take part in developer meetings.
- Able to read research papers and implement latest and cutting edge techniques in to the platform with robust software engineering principles.
Job requirements
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Communications, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience with Python, React, Django, Docker, Next.js, SQL, NoSQL and vector databases.
- Experience with software design patterns.
- Experience and understanding of end to end development of AI/ML models (including Foundation models) is an asset.
- Experience of having worked with open sources communities is an asset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, willingness to collaborate.
