About the job:
Assist in administering and maintaining compensation programs, including market surveys, merit salary increases, bonuses, attendance calculation, long term incentive program, job matching and benefits administration, to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.
Support managers and management teams to develop and update internal promotion policies and procedures.
Prepare documents for internal promotions and support the internal communication.
Conduct analysis of internal and external salary data to support compensation decision-making and ensure compliance with regulations.
Assist in communicating compensation and internal promotion policies to employees and addressing related inquiries.
Contribute to the implementation of performance evaluation processes and support the linkage of performance outcomes to compensation and internal promotion decisions.
Participate in conducting internal equity and pay fairness reviews to ensure fair and consistent compensation practices across the organization.
Maintain accurate and confidential records related to compensation, promotions, and related policies.
Provide all the necessary support for managers to complete annual compensation cycles and conduct internal communication.
Job requirements
About the ideal candidate:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Previous generalist experience in HR, a focus on compensation and performance appraisal practices is an asset.
Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office, particularly Excel for data analysis.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to compensation and internal promotions.
Detail-oriented and capable of handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
