Job description
Our team has an immediate 12-month contract opening for a Facilities Assistant.
Responsibilities:
- Distribute and collect assets (laptops, computers, PCs, etc.)
- Regularly count warehouses, clean up assets of resigned employees, old assets, and disconnect laptops to ensure asset security etc.
- Answer employees' daily asset questions, guide employees to maintain and update asset information
- Guide employees to complete the process of disposing laptops and assist employees in completing annual asset count
- Assist business departments in completing asset sell-off, scrapping, donation, and compensation processes
- Assist business departments in managing low-value assets to ensure efficient operations in asset management and process compliance
- Submit asset purchase requirements to the procurement department, as well as accept inbound assets/accessories upon arrival
- Print, issue, and paste labels to ensure the continuity of asset services
Job requirements
What you'll bring to the team:
- Post-Secondary Diploma in Business Administration, or relevant discipline
- 2+ years of relevant experience in office administration
- Strong English communication skills
- Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated organization and time-management skills
- Strong knowledge of office procedures and practices
- Keen attention to details
- Resourceful and flexible
